The building project of the Uri Cantonal Hospital in Altdorf is the largest that Uri has ever realised and replaces the hospital from 1963. It offers patients modern single and double rooms as well as first-class medical equipment, including in radiology, the operating room, emergency and intensive care.
The hospital worked closely with HESS Medizintechnik AG to procure the medical furniture. The quality of HESS products, the targeted use of a product line, the attractive price-performance ratio and the Swiss production location were particularly emphasised. Test set-ups enabled the users to try out the products extensively, and the feedback received was consistently positive. Any initial problems were successfully resolved. The high product quality and patient satisfaction were also praised.
