HESS Medizintechnik AG won the tender for the largest hospital in Switzerland in 2021. The hospital’s core competence lies in the comprehensive medical care and treatment of patients at the highest level. The more than 1,300 cabinet systems that we supplied and installed have been successfully in use in various areas of the new hospital building since the end of 2023.

In recent years, the Bellikon rehabilitation clinic, the leading Swiss clinic for accident rehabilitation, has been renovated and refurbished. The therapists also received new modern examination and therapy tables.

In order to make the daily work in the new practice more efficient, all examination and treatment rooms were equipped with new MultiPro® examination tables and work stools from HESS. With the Stenna medical practice, Dr. Ragettli provides primary and emergency care in the Flims region. In addition to basic care, the Stenna medical practice covers comprehensive GP treatment and care.

The UNIVERSITY Children’s Hospital Zurich (Kispi) was looking for a children’s hospital bed to replace the old model. For this purpose, the Kispi had drawn up a comprehensive set of specifications. No children’s hospital bed was found on the market that met all the requirements and needs. For this reason, the UNIVERSITY Children’s Hospital Zurich approached HESS Medizintechnik AG to have the optimal children’s hospital bed developed for them.

The outpatient clinic of the Clinic for Children and Adolescents of the Cantonal Hospital Baden (KSB) moved to the new partner house. New medical furniture was needed for this. The new rooms were equipped with a MultiPro® 3 patient table, an AC-table from GREINER and a dressing trolley from HESS. In the three treatment rooms, permanent hair removal is mainly done by laser, but skin examinations and tooth bleaching are also offered. Mr Vicente Tristante is the founder and owner of this practice and reports on his experiences with HESS Medizintechnik AG and the MultiPro® 6 treatment table.

The general contractor Priora AG commissioned HESS Medizintechnik AG with the planning and realisation of the interior fittings for the new operating wing of the Eye Clinic / Laser Centre Dr. med. A. Scarpatetti in Teufen. We used the Lindo® modular wall system from SHD for the operating theatres. The advantages of this modular system are the wall panels made of solid surface material, which can be adapted easily and dry on site.

The crews of Swiss Air-Rescue Rega often have another challenge to overcome after a successful rescue flight. Most of the time, they do not know what kind of transport trolley awaits them at the landing site of the destination hospital. The solutions vary considerably from hospital to hospital in terms of condition and applicability. To close this safety gap, Rega approached HESS Medizintechnik AG with the task. The aim was to develop a transport trolley that was as simple, uncomplicated and above all safe as possible.

The Swiss International College of Osteopathy is rented in Hertenstein in the Stella Matutina Training Centre. This means that the course rooms and classrooms are also occupied by other people. Therefore, the tables have to be dismantled and stowed away after the lessons or courses. In collaboration with Ms Graf, we have developed the best possible table for your needs and requirements: The HESS EasyStore.

With a special transfer table, Dr Meier wants to gain treatment time of the linear accelerator and thus use this cost-intensive device more efficiently and increase patient throughput. At the same time, this will increase patient comfort. Urs Meier, MD, Director and Head Physician of Radio-Oncology at the Winterthur Cantonal Hospital, approached HESS Medizintechnik AG to develop an appropriate transfer table.

The Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen has a passenger transport service which is responsible for organising and carrying out patient transports. Due to the size of the hospital grounds, the buildings are connected with underground logistics corridors. After more than 30 years in use, the existing transport chairs of the KSSG are getting on in years. HESS Medizintechnik AG was commissioned by the KSSG to develop a new transport chair that meets today’s requirements.

At the beginning of April 2020, the new Dr. Annen Health Centre opened in beautiful and sunny Root near Lucerne. Numerous HESS products are used in the practice. Reha Rheinfelden is constantly developing. On 25 October 2018, the “Reha Ost” extension was officially opened. More than 15 state-of-the-art HESS patient tables are in use in the newly created therapy rooms. From the classic HESS MultiPro® to the Praktitrans and the MultiPro® Bobath, everything is available. HESS Medizintechnik AG won the tender at the beginning of 2020 for one of the most renowned training centres for future nursing staff in the German-speaking region. Numerous HESS furnishings now support the trainees during their training period and also accompany them beyond.

The hospital region Rheintal, Werdenberg and Sarganserland has decided to modernise and expand the operating theatre wing at the Grabs site. HESS Medizintechnik was commissioned with the delivery and assembly of numerous powder-coated metal tall cabinets and metal base cabinets as well as numerous INOX shelves.

The Uri Cantonal Hospital in Altdorf has been operating in its new building since 18 July 2022. Numerous HESS products are used in the premises. From our brand new HESS patient stretcher Orion® to our proven MultiPro® next patient tables to the plaster table HESS EasyCast, as well as many other products. Siloah AG in Gümligen was looking for a stable and high-quality treatment chair that could be transformed into a fully functional table. After several product tests, they were unable to find a satisfactory product for their application. HESS Medizintechnik then developed the new Variation treatment chair in collaboration with Siloah AG, which is tailored to their application.

HESS Medizintechnik AG was awarded the contract for the delivery and assembly of numerous metal cabinet systems for the renovation of the ESF at the Inselspital Bern.

The Circle celebrated its opening at the beginning of November 2020. A new destination in Zurich has been created on 180,000 m2. Among other things, the Circle houses offices, shops, a park and an outpatient health centre of Zurich University Hospital. HESS Medizintechnik AG has made a decisive contribution to this.
