HESS contributes to the establishment of the USZ Health Centre at Zurich Airport
The outpatient health centre of the University Hospital Zurich was created in “The Circle” in Zurich. The health centre offers a comprehensive range of medical specialities and state-of-the-art treatment options that are always at the cutting edge of medical research. In addition, there is a Permanence for minor emergencies without prior appointment.
Particularly noteworthy is the dialysis unit, from which patients can enjoy a unique view of the Zurich airport tarmac. The USZ Health Centre at the airport combines medical expertise with state-of-the-art medical technology in one easily accessible location.
HESS Medizintechnik AG played a decisive role in equipping the health centre. Much of the medical furniture was manufactured at their plant in Bilten, GL. The challenge was to adapt the hospital furniture for “The Circle / USZ Airport” to the limited space available in order to optimally match the furnishings to the specified range of treatments.
Regardless of whether it is the dermatology department, endoscopy or emergency permanent care, HESS Medizintechnik AG provided the ideal equipment for each medical department, offering patients greater comfort during treatments. In addition, the user-friendly products relieve the medical staff in their patient-oriented work.
