Innovations from HESS Medizintechnik AG – An enrichment for rescue organisations!

Swiss Air-Rescue (Rega) is often faced with an additional challenge after a rescue flight: the uncertain condition of the transport trolleys at the respective destination hospitals.

To close this safety gap, Rega worked closely with HESS Medizintechnik AG. The aim was to develop a safe and easy-to-use transport trolley. The different rescue stretchers used by various hospitals had to be considered. After intensive analyses and successful tests, series production of the new Rega transport trolley began. It is characterised by its simplicity and intuitive handling, which enables safer and faster patient transfers.

The development of a universally applicable and highly functional transport trolley not only increases patient safety, but also improves the efficiency of rescue operations. This partnership clearly demonstrates how innovative solutions have the potential to optimise life-saving measures and at the same time improve working conditions for rescue teams.
