Variation treatment chair – More than just a seat
Siloah AG in Gümligen was faced with the challenge of finding a stable and versatile treatment chair that could transform into a fully functional couch. After intensive product testing, the company did not find a satisfactory product for its requirements. In close cooperation with HESS Medizintechnik, a customised treatment chair called “Variation” was developed.
Siloah AG offers specialised services for geriatric patients, people in old age and patients with neurological diseases. The “Variation” treatment chair was developed to be used in a versatile way in the different departments without having to move the patients. During the development of the “Variation” treatment chair, numerous requirements were taken into consideration, with a focus on simplifying daily workflows. The chair was designed so that elderly people can sit down without any problems. A clever technique shifts the patient’s centre of gravity and transforms the chair into a fully-fledged treatment and therapy table. A fold-down side guard with pinch protection ensures the safety of patients and users, and the comfortable cushion is also suitable for longer stays.
The treatment chairs have made the users’ daily work much easier, and both users and patients are very satisfied with the result.
